Learn About Your New Plant

Find your plant below for simple, easy-to-follow care instructions. From watering to sunlight, we've got everything you need to keep your plant happy and healthy.

🌿 Watering
Water every 1-2 weeks, once the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. Water thoroughly and let any extra drain out. Overwatering is the most common mistake, and yellowing leaves are usually the first sign.

☀️ Light
Thrives in medium to bright indirect light, which keeps its lime and yellow stripes bold. It tolerates lower light, but new leaves may come in greener with less variegation. Avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves.

🌡️ Temperature
Prefers temperatures between 60-85°F. Keep away from cold drafts, air vents, and windows during winter months. Leaf damage can occur if a leaf touches or leans against a window during freezing temperatures.

💧 Humidity
Adapts well to average household humidity. Misting occasionally or placing near a humidifier will encourage bigger, fuller leaves and faster growth.

🪴 Soil
A well-draining potting mix works best. Adding perlite or orchid bark helps keep the roots from staying too wet. Avoid heavy soils that retain too much moisture.

⚠️ Toxicity
Keep away from pets and small children as Philodendron is toxic if ingested.
