The ZZ plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia) has glossy, deep green leaves on upright, arching stems. It’s one of the toughest houseplants around: it handles low light, stores water in its thick rhizomes, and forgives the occasional missed watering. Give it low to bright indirect light and let the soil dry out completely between waterings. Comes in a 4” pot. Not pet safe, so keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.
